My mom was in the ER at St. Joseph. While there she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. The on call doctor was Dr. Choudhry. Her discharge papers had instructions for us to follow up with this dr. 1st appt, I waited 2 hours and still wasn't seen. So I asked to reschedule because they were taking so long. The wait at the 2nd appt wasn't as bad as the first appt. However, the first appt with this Dr did not go as well. He walked in and said "what can I do for you?" I'm thinking did you not read your patient's file. I think I said it because he then walked out and went to got her file. Came back in and ordered all these test for her. We did all get off4 test. We waited 3 weeks for a follow appt. At this appt we were expecting her test results from all the test they did on her. My mom and I showed up for her follow up appt and NO ONE was there! They were closed and no one bothered to call us. I called the next day to complain about what happened. The lady that answered said "oh we called you". I knew this was a lie. I checked my voice mail and my call log. NOTHING from them. It's so unprofessional. I found a new Dr for mom and now they can't get my mom's records from this Dr because no one ever answers the phone and when they do you're on hold for over 45 mins! So unprofessional. I do not recommend them!

I was sent to Dr Khan urgently by my primary because of results on EKG. Dr Khan took me immediately and listened to my situation, and seemed empathetic situation. Requested all tests necessary, followed up and showed true compassion for my condition. Also his knowledge and explanation of my issues made me feel better. There should be more Doctors like him.

Medical Assistants are very unprofessional! The California Department of Public Health needs to get involved and audit clinic!
