What a nightmare! This was the worse experience I've ever had! Please do not waste your time with this guy or his company! To make a long story short, I took my taxes to him on April 3, 2017 and just picked them up to sign on June  5th. After several calls to his office with no return calls, my husband finally caught him at his office to pick up our taxes so that we could go somewhere else. Louis promised, AGAIN that they would be done "the next day", we agreed because he filed an extension with the IRS unbeknownst to my husband and I, so we figured we would let him finish what he started. Louis also agreed to work with us regarding payment to him due to inconvenience we went thru during the previous two months it took for him just to prepare our taxes. The fair amount that he charged use was $330.00. May i also mention that i have never owed taxes until this year. Just lost my son 10 months ago, was hoping that Louis would of made this a little easier for me, not add to the daily stress and anxiety that I'm already battling with. Thanks Louis. If anyone would like additional documentation regarding this situation (dates, of emails, phone calls, receipts, ETC) i would be more then happy to share.

I have had a couple interactions with Mr. Lemos and find him to be extremely unethical. My first interaction with him was when he was a treasurer for an organization that I had a valid and executed contract.  I raised more than sufficient funds for the organization to pay my company the money owed on the contract. Mr. Lemos kept insisting to me that he was going to pay me first; however, Mr. Lemos continuously wrote checks to make donations to others and did not insist that the organization pay its debt to my company before making donations. Further, Mr. Lemos, was part of a group of people who approved a $5,000 to help relieve debt of the incoming chairman, when the organization owed my company tens of thousands of dollars. He then forced a settlement on me knowing that the organization hadn't paid on the contract in months and that I was under duress, for almost 20% of what the organization owed me. Mr. Lemos claimed the organization did not have the money to pay me, and blamed it on a donor who stopped payment on a donation. Mr. Lemos made it seem like a donor was obligated to make a donation (this was a first for me that a donor was obligated to pay), but that the organization was not obligated to pay my company on the signed and executed contract we had. This organization for which Mr. Lemos is the treasurer, is also a the middle of a money laundering investigation. Further, Mr. Lemos spoke to a group that I am involved with about forming a 501(c)3 organization. He basically told us that we could fly under the radar and the IRS and FTB probably wouldn't do anything. The group was ready to form the 501(c)3 and hire him to be our accountant; however, he talked the group out of forming the 501(c)3. My interactions with Mr. Lemos have been less than stellar. I have lost tens of thousands of dollars owed to me, and been given poor advise on how to proceed with the formation of a non-profit organization. I would highly recommend NOT using Mr. Lemos, or getting involved with any organization he is involved with.
