This is the first review I have ever written for any business, but this preschool is so awesome that my lazy butt was compelled to do so.  My two boys attended Little Hugs and both were  tiny monsters and behaved like animals when they arrived. The staff there were so patient and kind and you could tell they really cared about these kids.  Miss Alissa and Miss Nicole are such  great teachers and a special shout out to Mrs Gracie who makes it all work with such love. My boys still talk about Little Hugs with fondness, and due to the staff there, almost act like humans now. Highly recommend and thank you  Little Hugs.

This review for LHP has been a long time coming. If I could give LHP a 10+ star review, I would. My kids got to attend from 2017-2022. And if I could have them stay at LHP thru HS I would! Little Hugs Preschool is not just your kid's preschool. It is making new friends that turn into family forever. I will be forever indebted to Ms. Grace, Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Maria, Ms. Desiree, Mr. Vitus, Mr. Nick and the few in between along the way. It truly takes a village and LH staff really do care.Little Hugs PreK has everything you want, need and more in a childcare for your children. When I did the research for preschools, I actually had LHP in my top 3 schools I wanted my kids to get in to originally based on sole research, questions I had answered, and the needs wanted fulfilled for my kids. The start of our amazing time at LH was pre Covid and the wait lists for preschools at that time were pretty crazy so more than 1 school listed was a must just in case. After going on my initial tour to LHP I knew instantly this was my #1 choice, but I wasn't sure if I could meet the LHP requirement to have "your child 80% potty trained" to get into the school. Let me tell you, just like all other goals in life when you want something bad you make it happen! I went on a second tour this time with my husband and we officially submitted for placement and worked to make it happen. Potty training was completed right in time.As soon as I came to tour, Grace and her team were not only friendly and responsive to all questions but also quite informative in every aspect of their school structure, curriculum and expectations. Their knowledge with cumulative experience, organizational skills and cleanliness of their school site was beyond impressive. And when you meet LH teachers, they instantly make you feel like family, and you know your kids will be in good hands. Just know that as much as you need a fit for you and your child LH is also looking for the fit they need for their school. This is a two-way relationship in putting in the work to get your child's needs met. We are all a team.As a new family at LH, all teachers make your children feel loved and safe and if your kid doesn't quite have potty training all the way down don't fret the staff is there every step of the way supporting your kid and you to work as a team with them and trust me your child will get it! The initial days of going can be challenging since most of the younger aged kids have not left the nest yet but the LH team makes this transition as easy and smooth as possible for everyone. When Covid came LH did everything to pivot for best practices surrounding this new virus no one knew anything about. And I tell you my kids were never sick because of how clean they keep their school site. Unbelievably there was barely any cases compared to what was happening at other schools even during the thick of it.One of the many things I do love about the school is that the age groups only take a max amount of 12 kids each, so you never feel the school is trying to take money from you or that it's overcrowded like some other schools. All kids have enough individual and group time spaced between them which I really like. The school also provides 2 snacks and two hot (yes I said hot!) meals a day! Inside the facility: The school rooms are set up perfectly for each age group to learn with their age group peers while still having spaces to do circle time, group events and activities. There's a lunchroom and a quiet space room. A huge bathroom that is always clean. Did I mention everything is always clean?! The kids are always learning new curriculum and doing such cute art projects that encompass not just basic ABCs and 123s, but also enrichment activities that are inclusive of current events, other cultures and thought-provoking learning activities. Staff do photo share with you so you can see what your child does at school! Outside the facility: There is one large play area outside with structures and bars for age-appropriate play based on the age group your child is in along with balls, bikes and other fun outdoor equipment. The space is big enough for all. On nice or hotter days there is even water play!Events: There are many cool special events done annually like the Holiday Show, Spirit Week, pumpkin patch at school in October, Trunk or Treat, and the Lion Dance during Lunar New Year just to name a few.I could go on and on forever. The excitement of kids looking forward to and loving to go to school to learn and being with friends makes a positive core memory for life. The lifelong friends and family made along the way make for an irreplaceable experience and wonderful part of their amazing journey in life early on. Many kids that have moved on remain friends to this day and families from LH still refer new siblings, friends and family to attend prek here. As long as LH is in business this is your place to go! TY LH! LH 4Ever!

Our two boys both went to preschool here on the recommendation of family friends. LHP always took great care of our little ones and they both came out with excellent social skills, knowing all the letters and sounds of the alphabet and all their numbers.  The teachers are great, the staff are great at communicating and it really felt like family. If you're looking for a reliable preschool with strong values that actually care about your kiddos LHP is it.

Our 4 year old son loves all the teachers!  He adapted well when he first started.  Available parking makes for easy Pick-ups and drop offs.

Little Hugs has everything you want in a preschool. It has been a second home to both of my kids. Miss Gracie, the director, takes great care to make it a safe, fun, and educational environment. Academics and Staff: Both of my girls had Miss Alyssa as their "Raccoon" teacher (class for ages 4-5) and I am confident that she prepared both of them for kindergarten. Kids learn their alphabet with lots of letter recognition and writing practice. They also learn how to sign (ASL) the letters. They read every day. After leaving LHP, both of my girls knew how to read sight words and more. In math, they knew how to count well past 30. Students have seasonal and/or thematic units of study. For example, they learned about the different food families and then they made a pizza. I love the hands-on nature and play-based curricula! LHP also takes care to provide fun holiday activities, like bringing in lion dancers for Chinese New Year, etc. The other teachers are also awesome. We had experience with Miss Nicole as our older daughter's Chipmunk (ages 3-4 class) teacher. I can't speak for Miss Maria as she teaches the Squirrels class (ages 2-3) and my kids didn't have her, but she seems like a very nice person and always friendly. Miss Desiree is an all-around helper and does a terrific job feeding the kiddos and being another set of adult eyes to keep the kids safe on the playground and elsewhere. The Physical Space: it has a huge playground and blacktop area for kids to play on. There's a jungle gym which both my girls loved climbing on and swinging from. There are bikes, and a little garden where they're growing strawberries and other goodies. Indoors, there are three classrooms which are planned out well with different zones. There's a cafeteria where they eat their meals, and an office that has a cubby area for all the kids' stuff like spare clothes. The bathroom and all spaces are kept very tidy and clean. Students sleep on cots and everyone brings their own bedding each week.We will absolutely miss LHP: the staff, the space, and the great memories that our girls had there. If you're shopping around for preschools, don't delay! You won't have to look any further. :D
