I don't recommend this school because the teachers and the other staff are really not considerate for you and are not respectful to students. Some teachers are really nice and considerate of others mostly aren't. The school is in terrible condition and isn't clean at all times. The head custodian does a great job and cares about his work, but the students don't care and make all the mess they want to make the janitor's work harder. For example, there are many clubs at Alta Loma and you can join as many clubs as you want, but one of the clubs, the teacher is really mean to the 6th graders and basically gives everyone a hard time. She only uses the students to make herself look good from all of our hard work. People say that you can make friends in clubs that are older and younger than you that could be possible, but that isn't even true. In drama club, you would think that most of your cast mates are nice, but false they are really rude to each other and never even apologize or even say anything. My last reason, when I applied for leadership the upcoming following year, I didn't get in because one of the counselor set me up, so that's the reason why I didn't get it. I knew that because one of the trustable teacher I know, told me the real reason and I was just fed up with it. So, if you are interested in leadership, I don't recommend because they don't choose fairly and it would be a waste of your time filling out papers for nothing and also it is a scam.
