    Just your basic overnite hotel. . convenient to SFO with free shuttle that runs every 45 mins. Also next door to Fox car rental. Easy pickup or return so one does not have to take the car shuttle to rental center , then train to terminals. Hotel is close to gas stations for.last minute fill-up. Rooms are fine with microwave and coffee. Water bottle in room is $4. They do have a water fountain in lobby with free breakfast but if yiu have an early flight there is no time for it. Ample parking.

    I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express a few times. In January of 2024 I had another guest open the door to my room and told me that he was assigned my room for the night. When I asked management about it, all I got was a whoops, sorry. Not any sort of response or how can we make this right. In April 2024, when I checked in their system was down and had to check me in manually, and could not issue me a keycard at that time, but maybe later that evening or the next morning. Two nights later when I checked out, I still had not been issued a keycard and every time I left my room one of the employees had to escort me to my room and open the door for me. The free WiFi they mention must be the McDonalds WiFi next door, even though I logged on it never was connected. Speaking of McDonalds, it is the only food place within walking distance. I will not be booking this location again.

    I have been to a lot of IHG properties; this one would be one of the worse. Issues during stay: Carlos front desk, rude and standoff-ish. I told him I was platinum (seeing he did not welcome me as a platinum member) and asked him were there any perks. In no uncertain terms, he told me to take the daily points I would earn because that was it. The bottled water in the room was $3.69 and the worst brand too boot. The hotel shuttle service terrible. It facilitates multiple hotels and has limited hours. Something to keep in mind if you need to catch a flight. The hours are 5am to 10 am and 5pm to 10 pm. So I guess all other guests between 10am to 5pm will need to find another means to getting to the hotel. The wifi was really bad. Kicks you off ever two seconds literally. We stayed on the McDonalds side and ended up using their wifi to steam. My bed had someone elses hair in the sheets. When I asked housekeeping, she told me espanol. None of the housekeeping staff I encountered speak English and she refused to give me fresh towels. There were signs of bed bugs I found a few carcasses attached to the bedding. If ever in the San Fran area, just stay at the Ramada or TravelLodge, at least they are closer to the IHop. If I come up, I will not stay at this property again.

That said, your interaction with our team should always be pleasant, and we apologize if our front desk personnel appeared less cordial than expected. We hold ourselves to high customer service standards and will be sure to address this with the concerned staff member to ensure we provide better customer service moving forward. We appreciate your feedback about the bottled water. Unfortunately, complimentary water is not currently a Holiday Inn Express brand standard; therefore, bottled water is not offered complimentary at any Holiday Inn Express property. However, we strive to provide quality amenities at competitive prices. Regarding the shuttle service, we regret that our limited shuttle hours and the fact we share this service with other hotels in the area caused you such displeasure. Please note that our shuttle hours are advertised on our brand website to avoid inconvenience. Our shuttle schedule has been modified due to the limited number of flights to/from SFO during non-peak hours. Again, we are one of only a few hotels that still provide this complimentary service, and almost every hotel that has begun to provide shuttle service is operating on the same schedule, except for full-service properties. As you rightly pointed out, we share this service with other hotels in the area, so we recommend guests keep this in mind when scheduling a return to the airport. We are very sorry you had such challenges with our Wi-Fi service. Our WIFI tends to be pretty good usually, so it is strange that this happened. Rest assured, we have noted your concern and will be sure to investigate your complaint. It's concerning to read your comments about cleanliness and bed bugs. Our housekeeping team works diligently to prepare each room meticulously, ensuring a fresh and clean environment for our guests, so it's strange that this happened.
