    Tues. 03/19/2024 - Time of Experience: Approximately 12:30 pm As I pulled in to this SMART & FINAL (S&F) South San Francisco (SSF) Warehouse Grocery Store (WGS), I grabbed a grocery cart before I entered. The area in front of this S&F is exceedingly cramped. Often shoppers are squeezing past each other to get either IN OR OUT of this S&F South San Francisco Grocery Warehouse Store. To complicate matters, as I was ENTERING - WEST into the S&F Warehouse Grocery Store. To the NORTH of the door, which I had entered, there was a cashier checkout there. This cashier had several shoppers lined up to check out. To the SOUTH of the Entrance Door for me, was where the fruit, vegetable, & meats area was. It all was an extremely tight fit. PROBLEM, ISSUE, AND NONSENSE BEHAVIOR: As I was just entering this S&F Warehouse Grocery Store - SUDDENLY a S&F Grocery Warehouse Employee CAME BARRELING AT ME (from the South) WITH HIS GROCERY CART. IT WAS NOT APPROPRIATE AT ALL. I felt like it was a GAME OF CHICKEN! The message I clearly got was, "You better move now- or else!" I did! I immediately left my grocery cart where it was & left. I refuse to deal with such GARBAGE CUSTOMER BEHAVIOR. Let's "run a customer out of the store." Well, the strategy was quite successful. I wonder just how many stores CLOSED PERMANENTLY due to "2 Star Customer Service." IMPORTANT POINT & CLARIFICATION: If there is any video with audio from the S&F Warehouse Grocery Store, which is clear and clearly CONTRADICTS this review, I will immediately ADJUST THIS Google Review or DELETE completely. The video & sound would need to be of good quality. Yet another grocery or warehouse store "bites the dust" & it has now become - yet another strange, odd, and negative place to shop. In several of my previous Google Reviews, I wrote that I needed to find a way to automatically video tape an experience. I think I found some great options - some after an extensive internet review & search. This way I know that I can decide where to post my experiences & video footage. I now feel that I really WASTED MY TIME, EFFORT, & ENERGY with this S&F Warehouse Grocery Store in South San Francisco, CA: 1) I wait "way too long" to shop, therefore - I need & have to do A LOT of shopping. It usually runs anywhere from $150.00 to over $250.00. I was really "bummed out" by this situation, as I now knew that I would not and could not go back to S&F SSF Grocery. It was now a matter of integrity especially not giving my money to any business, which does not earn it through 4/5 CUSTOMER SERVICE. PERIOD. Luckily for me, I did find another GROCERY STORE. It was much larger than SSF. They appeared to treat me well. My checkout total was $257.47. I was able to accomplish so much more than what I would I have been able to at S&F Warehouse Grocery Store SSF. 2) I wrote a "5 Star" Grocery Checkout Experience for a cashier, I SNAIL MAILED it to her and this S&F SSF Manager. No one at either the S&F Management nor did employee took time to acknowledge my courtesy. Wow. 3) Finally about 4 to 6 months ago, I pulled up to S&F SSF; there was a PICKET LINE marching peacefully around the front doors. I chose to NOT GO IN NOR SHOP. I wanted to HONOR THE INTEGRITY of a picket line. In retrospect, I might NOW DEFINITELY have chosen differently. ANOTHER LIVE & LEARN MOMENT! I appreciate the time you spent reading this review.
