Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT ship valuables i.e. auction purchases through this individual. Agreed to have him ship an expensive auction item but instead of crating the item as agreed upon he simply shoved it in a cardboard box.

Shipped painting for $600 from California to New Mexico. Piece arrived just slung into a crate with no packing, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, nothing. Ornate frame original to piece was broken into many pieces. I called to file insurance claim, and he said the insurance only covers the painting, not the frame, even though the artist signed on the frame which he built himself. Just too bad for me. Hugely overpriced for the horrible service I received. And this guy was recommended by the auction house.
