Okay, so it took a little long to fix my car. But you want it done properly not just quickly right? Besides the time it took, South City Auto Center is wonderful. Kevin provides excellent service and the price is unbeatable. If you need a charter bus Kevin also has the hook up on that too. If the communication on the time it was going to take to fix or when it would be ready was better, five stars. I will definitely be taking my car back here in the future, great service at a better price.

Went to different shops to try to get my car fixed something was wrong with my breaks so I took my ride over to get fixed. Kevin is the owner of this shop he's a real nice guy. So anyways i dropped my car the next day it was ready good thing is I didn't have to spend a arm and a leg. If you looking for car repair or any body mods this shop is the place to go.

I took my car to a few places (i.e. Wheelworks) and would mention about my issue - car sounds very loud especially when I increase the speed and it takes a lot of effort for it to increase its speed.  Everyone said there was no issue with the car.  It was not until I took the car to Kevin (the owner) that he was able to diagnose the problem at initial inspection. Like a good car mechanic, he sat in the car and listened to it.  He was able to provide a high level overview of the potential problem (gasket issue or combustion) so I was more comfortable giving him my car.  After I left my car, he called me shortly thereafter to confirm his suspicion and told me the cost and if I wish to proceed.  I was quite impress that his initial diagnostic (without using any electronic device or taking out the parts) was correct.  It is very rare to find a mechanic who knows his stuff.  By just listening to the car and using his sense of smell he was able to provide his theory on the potential problem - most mechanic will tell you that you have to leave the car with them so they can run some test without having any initial clue on where to search for the problem.  The best part is that his rate is unbeatable - I called around before I went to Kevin and other mechanics had higher rates than Kevin.  Kevin is also a very nice, friendly mechanic with a lot of knowledge about cars.  I will definitely use Kevin to fix future car problems -  let's hope I don't have any.....
