        Doing taxes through John has been one of the biggest mistakes Ive ever made. I filed with him in 2020. 2 years later I receive a notice saying my 2020 taxes are invalid. John has been completely unhelpful in figuring out whats going on. All he can say is call the tax board. I asked for some form of verification or proof that he sent the return which he declined to provide. Now I am receiving bills from the tax board when I already paid the amounts he specified when he did the return. Upon reviewing the return over $12000 dollars in charitable contributions were written off he took upon himself to write in without my consent or knowledge. Now I am in debt to the state and I have no idea why. Meanwhile John who prepared the return is completely unwilling to help even though it is his tax preparation is what got me in this position. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to get your taxes done. Id hate to see anyone else go through what I have to.
