It was a pleasure speaking with Darren Watson and the other associates there at Sterling Watson Engineering. A couple of months ago I was told I might need a retrofit for my apartment building. I was recommended by a man in passing at the Los Angeles Department of Building & Safety, an employee of theres told me to call for a site visit to evaluate if I actually needed a retrofit, the young man told me to speak with the Principal Engineer there. I spoke with Darren who appeared to be very knowledgable from what I could tell, him and his team were eager to help answer all of my questions, they arrived promptly the next day and took videos and photos of my property and had answers for me within a couple of days. It turns out I didnt need a retrofit, I then recommended them to a friend of mine about two or three weeks later. My friend was really very satisfied with the work they did.

Sterling-Watson Engineering is a great consulting firm to work with and provides excellent professional services for most structural-related work. The employees and company owner are very responsive and communicate well. They got the work done in a well-organized fashion and I was impressed with their maintained professionalism throughout the project. As a civil engineer in the field, I highly recommend using Darren Watson as the structural consultant on your future projects.

I try to support small businesses whenever I can. I was a little hesitant due to a previous situation where the company simply did not have it together in terms of organization for the project I needed to have complete. When Darren came as a recommendation, although hesitant, I went forth. Best decision I could have made. Darren and his team were proactive at every turn with what I wanted. Knowledgeable is an understatement, it was as if he knew exactly what I was thinking. I am thankful for the referral and would refer him any and every time.
