As someone with a rare chronic health condition, I unfortunately have encounters with medical professionals often. Due to decades of misdiagnoses and poor treatment outcomes, Ive grown to distrust those who feel they understand me or can fix me. The other day, I experienced my first dental emergency and the thought of an unexpected medical visit was nauseating. Fortunately, Dr. Spero picked up the phone that Saturday morning with a demeanor that quickly calmed me. He saw me that morning and a few subsequent visits. Several things stood out -
1. He is not only extremely knowledgeable in his field.
2. He is accommodating to the needs and circumstances of his patients- he even discouraged me from finding childcare and welcomed my toddler happily into the office.
3. He is a lifelong learner.
4. He is patient, listens, and adjusts his plan to ensure patient physical, emotional, and financial comfort.
Never seeing another dentist again!
