Ed Cook Tree Service

Today I was shoveling the remnants of the storm from our driveway and one of Ed Cook's employees was just arriving to plow our neighbor's drive across the street. I waved and he waved back and then unprompted proceeded to knock down and remove the snow plow berm on our driveway which I would not have been able to remove since it was almost solid ice. This took about 2 minutes and saved me 2 hours of struggle. He gave a thumbs up, plowed the driveway across the street and disappeared. This is just plain courteous, nice and something that is rare in this world today. Ed, if you are reading this please don't fire the dude for unpaid work, give him a promotion and a raise! And yes, you have our tree business. Outstanding people. Thank you so much!

Coming home as usual and noted a tree work in progress sign around Marjorie and O'Malley, sign was not a detour or road closed sign just working progress. Around the bend a crew just laid a tree down. This wasn't fully blocking the road but a Bobcat they were using was. They could easily have moved the Bobcat to allow traffic to clear but instead stood around walking back-and-forth with stoic looks on their faces, Glancing up to see if the now 3 cars lined up were turning around or gone.. No one had the stones to come up and tell us that we would have to turn around, how long they would be or maybe even an alternate route. We finally did turn around. I understand hard work and doing it safely, this is not in question. What is in question it the integrity and obvious attitudes this crew working have. No one likes to be ignored. Particularly by people with an obvious chip, no pun intended, on their shoulder. Won't be using this tree service ever for this reason alone.

Best tree service in SLT, their attention to details are amazing.  I hope to not use them again but if I have any tree issues they are my first call!!!

I'm giving this business a five because a ten wasn't available. This group of skilled tree experts are a "Well-oiled Machine." They know where each other are at all times. I felt very safe the entire time. We had resisted cutting down our 50 year old sequoia for 20 years but it's root system was threatening our cabin. This sucker wasBIG. They arrived at nine and were done by noon. A respectful, hard-working crew.
