The store is great and the guy there was really nice and helpful Unfortunately they not accept cash and I couldnt buy the snowboard I wanted. They even not allow to tap. Still 5 stars for his help.

Neat shop! Large selection of great apparel and gear and some souvenir options as well. Employees are helpful and funny!

I broke both my ankle straps on my first run on a Friday (first ride with this particular board in 6 years) and had already tried to repair on the hill. I came down the Gondola and tried Heavenly rentals and the demo shop and both turned me away even though my $190 1 day pass was freshly minted. One person pointed out the Boardinghouse so I went up there assuming snowboarders would be more sympathetic. Boy was I right - Josh was at the counter and helped me right away. Like other reviewers I was expecting a high rent price due to the location and season, Josh informed me what it would cost to replace both straps with mid level Burton Hammock straps and I was shocked to find out it was very reasonable - 1/2 the price of renting a demo board which was where I thought I was headed. Josh was very knowledgeable letting me know how to care for the non standard setup I now had and what bindings he recommended based on my equipment. A+In an interesting end to my day I was riding down the Gondola after a full afternoon of riding sharing my story about Boardinghouse and Josh with the folks in there with me, the young lady across from me jumped in and said "me too! Josh fixed my bindings for me this morning!" We all agreed Boardinghouse should be our first stop if we need anything while on the hill. How awesome to have such a great option once already on the hill, think what it would feel like over paying or losing ride time.Well played Boardinghouse, Josh is awesome.
