I used to skate here as a kid and now have had the chance to start bringing my own kiddos. We love coming here and my kids are always asking to go. The staff are all very friendly. The reason I only give 4 stars is the price- it gets expensive quick. For my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) one visit costs us $60. If we bring our own skates it only lowers the cost to $52. ($20 per adult or $16 with own skates, kids are $10). With that, its not something you can really go and do multiple times a week because its hard to justify the price. They do not offer local discounts or memberships.

Saw an ice hockey game here between Las Vegas and the local Tahoe team. I was able to purchase at the door. Great atmosphere, lots of locals and families. It's cold inside so bring something to sit on (the bleachers are made of metal). Beer and food can be purchased inside.

We had rented the ice-skating table area for a birthday party, while the kids had a great time ice-skating, so five stars for that, it was a horrid time at the table area. So we paid $130 for a non-private party, no plates, napkins, cups or silverware! When I asked the lady upfront what all comes with the package, because I was a little confused. She told me that they dont provide anything and that shes not sure what Im expecting! I already had the kids on the rink. I didnt wanna make a huge scene but I was upset at her nastiness and the fact that I paid that kind of money to literally just sit there, the kids had to eat cake with their hands! Plus if I wouldve been more prepared if they had let us know that nothing comes in the package. I think it was just the way I was spoken to on top of the price that was insane. I tried to call the manager, I did speak to a really nice lady name Lynell, but they refused to refund me the party space because they dont provide anything and that was never an agreement. So I think ice-skating is great and the kids had a great time but I implore people do not rent the party area because they dont explain anything to you and they take your money and then let you know that youre on your own. So thanks so much ice rink!
