Dr. Nielsen has been caring for my husband and I for 5 years.She is Fabulous!Kind, caring and always there for you!  She is teaching you how to care for your teeth and gums to prevent problems.  She has never hurt me!I have many crowns and implants so I know the difference a fine dentist makes in your life.  She does your cleaning herself which makes early diagnosis preemptive.  Love my dentist and so will you!

Dr. Nielsen has been my dentist for years now. She was recommended to me by another dentist. One of the great things about being her patient, is that she doesn't have minions to outsource her job to. She comes prepared and does everything herself. Prep work, cleaning, restorative techniques are all done by her. And, she does them expertly. You can tell she really likes her job, because she is so thorough and enthusiastic. I came to her with teeth that needed a lot of work. She came up with a plan that was not only workable, but with creative solutions to resolving the sad condition of my mouth. My teeth are now stabilized. No cavities this last go round! I recommend her to everyone.

I did write a review of this dentist years ago.  I had had a horrible experience with someone else who is no longer in Sonoma.  Thank god!  He was a butcher.  I went to Louise's on a recommendation.  I was told that she takes time to explain procedures.  It is true.  I have never felt rushed.  I love her gentle touch, and her conservative approach.  She will not push aggressive whitening, for example.  She will take Xrays only if needed, not routinely (my preference).  I have recommended her to several persons, who were satisfied.  I am surprised that there are only two reviews ----not counting my previous one which had disappeared.  I hope this one stays :-)

I've been to this dentist before and she is very nice but I'm not a fan of her work. I had a cavity so big that when she tried to fix it it turn into a root canal. A good dentist would have taken accurate x-rays and watch to see if a cavity is forming. Also I realized my filling on another tooth was big, every time I tried to floss it would get stuck and then I got a cavity on the tooth next to that one. I am so glad I switched dentist.
