        Lovely selection of new and used titles, with a great California section, nice history shelf, and tons of fiction. Hans Christian Anderson museum upstairs! Friendly and helpful staff.

        Now I'll be the first to admit that whenever I'm in any town I check out the bookstore, but I come here every time I'm in Solvang. Two stories of books crammed together in a way that just makes the shop feel cozy. I like it here quite a bit and the person running the shop is always very nice.
