An excellent martial arts studio for the entire family! I have been in martial arts for the vast majority of my life. I have practiced Judo, Muy Thai, BJJ, Small Circle Jujitsu, and Isshin Ryu all over the world. While I believe that no one martial art is perfect, Okinawa-Te is a very good balance of both hard and soft techniques with lots of practicality that is constantly being progressed. Sensei David Hall owner of this Dojo is an excellent instructor guiding both the young, middle aged and older members. Striving not to just teach the art, but also respect, compassion, and a healthy body. I consider it a privilege to have this caliber of studio close to me. It should be known, this is NOT Taekwondo. This is not a flashy style and is not all about kicks only. Those that come here can expect a hard work out and to learn practical methods to defend yourself. This is also not a belt factory. Advances do not come easily, but are well earned and the quality of the students that come from here are easily noticeable when compared to other styles with the same rank.
