Perfect for a 2 night getaway. I came here with my girlfriend during a snow storm and we couldnt have been happier. The scenery around the facility is stunning; valleys of untouched snow, hearing wind through the evergreens, and soaking in some hot spring water as you forget about everything else. Check in was friendly and easy. Crystal helped us get acquainted with the facilities, told us about water temperatures, and answered any questions we had. We stayed at the globe hotel a short 5 minute drive away or so and drove to the hot springs every day. We ate food at the philosophy cafe and the local restaurants in town; you cant go wrong with any because it seems all the chefs are some of the best in the world. The facilities, they were amazing. Wonderfully cared for, clean, and plenty of space for everyone. You can spend all your time at the more social temple dome area which has sun decks, hot pool, cold baths, warm pool, and sauna. The Phoenix baths are great if you just want privacy, and the meditation pool for the prime nature experience. Do be prepared, this is a clothing optional hot spring area. Some groups attend the hot springs complete covered, some partially covered, and some completely nude. Single, couples, and families all present. Anyway, before I make this review too long, this place is amazing. Cant recommend it enough.

OK I'm gonna give quite the honest review. First off if I was reading only the hospitality and stuff I will give this a 5 stars and the only reason I'm dropping it is there a few minor details I feel like this place could add to make the experience all that more unique and accommodating. even if they charge a little more to. So let's just get the negatives out of the way so we can move on to the positive. My negatives for the experience were in the showers I do wish they would offer towels as well as put floor mats on the ground to step on. The private tabs I was not quite impressed with it felt quite secluded kind of dirty and I was expecting something slightly more I guess romantic I'm not quite sure. It just didn't do it for me it was cold dark & claustrophobic. Also being there during snow season the trail up to the private tabs was not plowed and it was quite a lot to of snow to walk through but it was the closest to walk for showers. I do wish the main house offered showers as well with their changing rooms which could make it easily be your stop and go spot for all. Unfortunately I also was quite disappointed in the most one spot we wanted to go to which was the natural outdoor spring. It was extremely muddy and lots of snow to walk through to get to it and the showers are not on during winter so it was freezing cold when you're getting out and you're trying to figure out how you're going to rent your feet off to put your shoes and clothes back on to walk back through the mud and snow. That was the coldest walk back by far. The other negative was at the main pool/hotspa was there a young children there. I had assumed this was an adult only place especially considering it was a clothing optional place and then we're adults nude walking around. I get this is completely fine for some people but for me I was kind of looking for an all adult location and it made me feel uncomfortable to even be nude if I wanted to be.  The only last complaint was I really wish they had full-time food offered even if a very little options. But I guess you can always pack your own food and bring it in Too. I just would've love to sit and have hot coffee or hot tea around at each location oh and water your sooooo thirsty when doing hot springs during and after or throughout the day. OK now that I got that other way let's talk about the positives!!!! First off it is a beautiful location the views around you are breathtaking the staff was absolutely welcome and friendly and made our whole day with their amazing personalities. I loved the inside of the main house building all the rustic cabin old house feel a warm fireplace with cozy chairs to sit in a piano to play a guitar to strum we even decided to have a little thing off with ourselves while waiting for some of our friends to finish showering. The shared kitchen has beautiful concrete countertops the bathroom is just adorable the living room view is so pretty I could've just stayed in there for hours relaxing and staring at the view. The price seems very fair for what you get I am not sure what it's like in the summer but I know when winter it sure was a beautiful experience to try. This was a girls trip we did so for us it was perfect to come for the day on our way to Tahoe. Thank you for the wonderful experience we will be back~
