Little Crown Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics | Sierra Madre

Save yourself a ton time and do not send your children to this pediatric dental office. I have had a horrible experience. Little Crown will not process my claim with Cigna. I am now having to process the claim myself direct with our insurance. After my child's procedure I had to follow-up with Little Crown so they would process the claim, each time they said they would process the claim and to wait 5-6 weeks to complete it. Three months later and 3 follow-up phones, each time they asked me to wait longer, and it still has not been processed. Now I am spending more time having to work with Cigna directly to get our claimed processed. Not acceptable to us. We have switched dentist and hope others do not suffer the same fate as us. Stay away.

Little Crown Pediatric Dentistry was an ok convenient local dentist for basic cleanings twice a year....UNTIL they found a cavity.  Rather than fill it, they wanted to wait to see if it would fall out however, in a matter of weeks, my child was in pain and needed to have the tooth removed.  When i called them to say we were just there weeks ago and need to come back because he's in pain, they said, that they could "look" at it on Wednesday (2 days away) but wouldn't be able to remove it until mid September....which was 2.5 months away.  Given that they'd already seen and x-rayed the tooth just weeks ago....why would i pay them more money to "look" at it again and leave my child in pain?  Umm, they'd already done that....i now needed them to fix the issue they'd thought was fine to "watch".  So I next asked them to refer me to a local emergency dentist.  Their response was "We can't do that because we don't like to send our patients to other offices.  But we have cancellations all the time and  can put you on a cancellation list so it could be much sooner than September".  It is unbelievable that a pediatric dentist would take such poor care of a child patient in pain....especially one who was in pain because they saw an issue weeks earlier but decided to let it develop further. I found a wonderful emergency dentist that removed the tooth and I will never EVER return to Little Crown again.  Now i keep getting text messages and emails about pediatric orthodontics.  I cancelled all appointments and asked them to stop but the emails and texts keep coming. Apparently, they'll refer you to an ortho and even market the ortho but not help your child in pain....i'm assuming that's because they get a referral fee from the ortho.  Do better Little Crown.....have a plan for when things go wrong after an appointment.  Care and respond when your little patients are in pain...they are children not dollar signs.  They deserve so much better than the nonsense you gave us.

Would highly recommend this pediatric dental office! I recently brought my 4yr old for their first dental visit and it could not have gone more smoothly. The office was clean, comfortable, and had a nice ambiance. The friendly and professional staff quickly put my child at ease, which made this a very enjoyable experience. Most importantly, my child cannot wait to come back for their next visit!

Terrific experience with both of my kids! The entire staff was friendly, engaging, and patient. Dr. Pack and the hygienists were wonderful!
