The trail was a hard difficulty hike. I brought 6 bottles of water and i was fully prepared. It took 6 hours to complete the hike to the Jones Peak Summit, but i spent 2 additional hours doing bird watching with my binoculars. Parking: I came on a Tuesday to hike, the parking lot was half full. I wouldn't wanna try to park here on a weekend. Restrooms: Be fully advised that there is only one restroom for the Bailey Canyon Trail, which is located at the entrance, and the restroom was very clean with tissue fully stocked. Dog-friendliness: I saw other hikers walking their dogs. It was a very friendly atmosphere.

Bailey Canyon is an absolute gem for nature enthusiasts of all ages! The family-friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal destination a trail that's refreshingly easy for beginners, accommodating for kids and the elderly, and even welcomes our furry friends with open arms. Free parking is a major plus, and the abundance of shade along the trail makes it perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more relaxed hike. A true haven where the entire family, including your four-legged companions, can enjoy the beauty of nature together.
