This is the least professional accountancy firm with whom I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I have called and left messages several times and he has not responded one time - and we have been long-time clients of his. Just looking for a tax document the banks needs. I have expressed the urgency of our situation to no avail. Time to look for a new accountant.

We had a few life events in 2019 with the sale of a house, marriage and children so we felt we should use a professional for our taxes. We were recommended this office by a family member as they knew an employee personally. I wish I had never listened. We provided our tax return information to them in February and here it is mid-april and our taxes are still not complete. From requesting our original documents and keeping them instead of providing a copy, despite our requests, and then emailing every few weeks to ask for another document (not cc'ing both of us despite requests) and then the scatteredness and rudeness from the office assistant Carmel as I strained to politely organize a time for us to come in a sign the e-file forms and collect our documents as we were told the papers just needed to be organized but were otherwise ready to go. We both work full time, have young children, so we need to plan in advance when we can leave the house. I tried to explain this to Carmel but continued to be cut off with "when we have it done, we'll give you a call". This has been a nightmare and I wish I had just used Turbotax and figured it out myself.
