Im not a gym guy. My fitness goals can be described as healthy dad bod. I belonged to an LA fitness in the past, but decided that working out with a home trainer was more for me. Fit House opened around the corner from me though. And my trainer moved away. So even though Im not that comfortable with gyms, I decided to give them a shot. And I am so glad I did. I rarely have felt more welcomed by Reggie, Jan, and Paul (my trainer). The facilities and atmosphere are awesome. And living close, I walk by the gym often with a welcome hello. This is a wonderful, independently owned local business. And I am glad I took the plunge with them.

I've been working out with Paul for about 2 months now. He is a fantastic trainer. His knowledge of exercise physiology is outstanding and he pushes you to get you results that you want. He cares about his clients and is very organized and keeps track of their progress meticulously . I've already gained muscle bulk and strength in this short time period. The vibe at Fit House is great and the owners Reggie and Yawn are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

This gym is perfectly adequate. Its not super crowded in the day, but its on the smaller side. Unfortunately, a lot of the equipment is old and outdated, but there is pretty much everything there you could need. A/C either wasnt on or was used sparingly the times I visited. Usually just 1 big fan and the doors were kept open. I cant imagine how that would be in the summer. There is only one power rack and sometimes that area is used for people doing other exercises (e.g., a lady was doing core workouts right in front of the power rack and personal trainers would use the power rack area for athletic training sessions), so often times I had to wait to use it even though I came in off-peak times. The power rack/ cardio room area also seemed a little less clean/dustier than the main weightlifting section in the front. I only signed up for a month, but I was automatically charged for the following month despite stating upfront that Id only be doing 1 month. To their credit, they immediately refunded me that amount after I called and asked. Only reason I gave a 3 out of 5 is because I felt the gym environment wasnt too friendly. Anytime I had a question for one of the gym owners about where a piece of equipment was that was there the prior week, they made it seem like a hassle to respond. I guess they dont want to give much information/help unless you pay for personal training services. It seemed like a lot of people came with a personal trainer or hired one from the gym. Ive been to other gyms where personal training sessions are also offered but the vibe is a lot friendlier for regular gym goers. If you dont care about the vibe or know your way around a gym without need for questions, then this gym is perfectly fine.

Best gym Ive ever found. The trainers are incredible. Have been working out with Reggie for a year and Im in the best shape of my life. Has all the equipment you could want but still feels like an intimate gym experience. Was at Equinox before and Ill never go back.

Hard to believe theres a gym out there that folk from all different for a walk to fitness can enjoy But apparently one exists: the FIT HOUSE! I was fortunate to be introduced to one of the owners, and after a week of a few phone calls to ensure that it might be a comfortable fit post Covid, scheduled a session. I was honored to be matched with JAN (pronounced yan) Who took a generous amount of time to gently test out where my strength levels were He is knowledgeable and experienced - always encouraging - and after just the one session I knew I found a place to relax, dig in, and get back to health & fitness. The gym itself is spacious, incredibly clean, and private. You need to have a membership to enter, and only those who are respectful and serious about fitness are admitted. Well I have not yet been to the gym when it is at full capacity, the times I have been there it feels uncrowded, relaxed, and they are to serve every fitness need whether a professional bodybuilder, or a layperson just wishing a solid workout Parking is quite spacious (after 2 PM in their adjacent parking lot is all theirs) and prior to that theres plenty of street parking. Cannot recommend highly enough I must call if youre looking for a gym or Trainer
