We decided to renovate our home in LA and I chose Prime Builders & Experts based on their prompt response to my request for a larger scale project .
Which included a 430 SF addition with new master bedroom and master bath to the back of the house .
After meeting with Rebecca and Ray and going over the scope of work I felt at ease .
They were very knowledgeable and we know after our second meeting with them that we didnt need to look further .
The finish has exceeded my expectations ! And Im very happy about that, their finish work is amazing and all the detail they put into our project just made all the difference.
Thank you Prime builders team for making this happen, we are so very grateful !
And for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy contractor you just found it .

Prime did a full renovation of our house. It was built in 1965 and nothing had been upgraded so we needed new plumbing, new roof, new wiring, we removed a wall, we had asbestos to remediate, and more. If there were a checklist of all the major issues that could come up during a home reno it's like we checked off everything. We spoke with several contractors in the beginning and Prime seemed like the obvious choice. Ray and Rebecca spent over an hour talking to us on the initial meeting, followed up that evening with more questions and pictures trying to figure out our style, and showed us a 3D model of their design. The end result has been top notch and our kitchen especially underwent a dramatic transformation. Honestly, I'm thankful we found Ray and Rebecca. I know the whole process could have easily become a nightmare but they made it feel easy for us.

Prime Builders & Experts Remodeled my kitchen and primary bath in our home after we had water damage in the kitchen. They did an incredible job we decided to the primary bath as well, they were very responsive and worked quickly to get things settled for us as we were without a kitchen for several months overall.
Ray the project manager and owner has been delightful to work with , he had great ideas all throughout the projects to make things perfect for us in our new home . I highly recommend him and his team, his wife Rebecca which Ive had numerous calls with has been very helpful . Thank you guys again we will forever be grateful!

Review of Prime Builders & Experts
I bought a house in Rancho Cucamonga that was built in 1977. It had been last updated sometime in the 1980s so I wanted to update the kitchen, the master the guest bathrooms and flooring. Additionally, I wanted to take out a wall between the kitchen and the garage to expand and add a pantry and laundry room. I closed escrow on the property in July of 2022 and began meeting with Contractors in Aug 2022 to decide who I wanted for the project. I met with Ray and thought he understood the vision that I wanted to achieve. There is an option to start by paying for design to see if the relationship works. It was only about $7,000 and I got a new design and architectural plans. If I decided to complete the project with them then Prime would take half of the $7,000 and apply it to the project. This is the route that I decided to follow.
At that point, I met with Rebecca who is the design side of the team and who ended up being my point person for the rest of the project. She produced a couple of design options using 3D rendering to get an idea of the finished product. After going back and forth and bit on the design, we settled on a final version and sent it to the architect around Oct of 2022. The plans were completed around the end of November.
It was at this time that Prime Builders presented a price and option to move forward with the entire project. They broke it down with the bathroom remodel separate in case cost meant it needed to get divided into two projects. I decided to move forward with the entire remodel with Prime. My $3,500 was credited to the project and the plans were submitted to the city for approval. The plans were approved in April 2023 and so a May 2023 date was set to begin demo and construction.
Overall, I am very happy with the results of the project now that it has been completed. Prime did excellent work, and everything looks fantastic. They started on time and completed the project within the timetable that was set up in the beginning. They were within budget and did not go over at all. Whenever there was anything that I had questions about, did not like, wanted to add or subtract Rebecca was very responsive and always worked so that I was happy in the end. I very much appreciated that. We passed all the inspections on the first try and got all the permits without an issue so that was something Prime did that was excellent. At the end of the job the punch list was comprised of anything too serious and Prime went out of their way to make sure that everything on my list was addressed until I was satisfied.
As with any project, communication is vital and as contractors Prime could use some improvement but so could we all. I do realize and recommend that it is up to me, the homeowner, to make sure that communication is constant and relevant. I would also point out that I was working and reviewing the project from 6 hours away so that definitely posed its own issues when it came to communication.
Prime gave some guidance when it came to finishes such as the flooring, tile, backsplash, mirrors, fixtures, appliances, etc but for the most part I was on my own as the homeowner to pick what I wanted, get it ordered, paid for, and delivered. Rebecca did have some recommendations for vendors that they work with, and I did use their vendors for the countertop, cabinets, and flooring.
I have been living in the completed project for about 2 months now and I can say that the workmanship has held up. There has not been any hidden issues that have arisen and everything still looks great. I would recommend Prime Builders and Experts to anyone needing to do an update and renovation project no matter how large or small.
