Car got a bad shake at high speeds a day before a vacation to palm springs with my family. Came in on a Friday before lunch and explained the issue to Eugene who knew what was needed to fix it just by the description/year/make. Easy thing would have been to tell me to leave it and come back next week but Dad and Me hustled to source the part, replace it, and test drive it in one afternoon to save the family vacation and had me back on the road safely the next day. At far less cost than of the dealership. Can't really ask for more than that.

Dad & Me Auto Repair will now be my go to mechanic from here on. Eugene, Catarina and Adrian are wonderful to work with and extremely helpful and informative about diagnosing and solving any car issues that might pop up. Can't recommend then enough!

Zero stars. Do NOT trust this business!! They do shady business and harmful work to cars!! Summary: They completely stripped 3 lug nuts, only returned 2, and tried to act like the 3rd was missing before it arrived. (It absolutely was not, I have photos of the car right before it was driven in.) Full story: I called them to ask if they can repair a flat because its a Tesla. He assured me they can, no problem, and rushed me off the phone. (I chose this shop because it was the closest and I was on a flat) Upon arrival he asked me for a special key to removed the lug nuts because its a Tesla. I told him I dont have one and asked if I needed to find a different shop for a Tesla. He told me its not a problem, they will plug it without removing the tire. After they had been working on the tire for a while, they decided to use the WRONG TOOLS on my car anyway, without my permission!! I heard the use of a power tools and rough noises, when I came over they had 3 men blocking my view of the tire. When I asked whats going on, he once again began talking about the special key and opened my trunk to look through it! I glanced down then and could see 3 of the lug nuts were off so I though it was weird he was staring up about this special key again. I asked him not to go through my trunk because I know its not in there, I dont have it, and he proceeded to go all through my things anyway telling me it has to be in there because its usually in here. When I started to close the trunk he then tried to go through my glove compartments! I told him again that it is not in there I dont have one. He said okay okay, well fix it After about 5 more minutes he walks over to me and tells me he cant fix it because They cant get them off to which I point out that 3 of the bolts are currently off and he cuts me off and said no no we cant get them off. I realized then that this place is a sham and said okay just put them back. After they put them back, he comes and starts talking about this key again, I told him its fine and asked him to put the last one back so I can go. He tells me thats all of them. I point out that one is missing and he said no that one was already missing. I dont know what happened to it. We didnt touch it and I told him I drove it in with all of them on, and I have pictures of the car right before I drove it in. He was incredibly dismissive, and started to get aggressive and talk over me. I called my brother up to the shop, and when he arrived the owners attitude totally shifted to a helpless, hands up, I dont know what happened sir. We didnt touch that one points at me and says she saw us. My brother confirmed that all the lug nuts were on before it was driven in and asked if there are cameras on the property. To which the owner got a little frantic and said No we dont have cameras puts his hands up and says What?! You dont trust me?! We didnt touch it. Ask her. I have zero respect for you as a human being, especially as a business owner, for believing you can aggressively dismiss me and the damage to my car because Im a woman. I took my car to another tire shop where they fixed the tire easily, within 10 minutes, and confirmed that there is no special key for Teslas. They also showed me that the lug nuts that had been absolutely destroyed beyond use. Graciously they gave me 3 new ones; to replace the damage that this business did!! Upon calling them back to tell them they stripped the bolts, the owner again acted like nothing happened, not his fault, and why would I want to be mean to him and his business. An absolute joke. *If you value your car at all, dont bring it here. There are FAR BETTER shops right around the corner, that charge the same price. Youre not even getting a discount here, its actually going wind up costing even more no repair the damage.*
