Genesis Residential Center

They say they aren't liable for people stealing what family brings into the front office. My parents brought some stuff for me. Like two box's with books and stuff. I ended up finding my box in their donations room. My other box and fan were never found. This makes me believe the staff are thieves. The front desk should be a safe place for patients belongings.Very unprofessional.

Disrespectful and arrogant staff who treat clients if you would even call them clients, they sure dont treat them as such, name calling, yelling, from staff occur often. Food is meh, classes meh, A female client also walked in on two counselors getting it in while at work, maybe they were practicing 13th step . I dont know ????

Genesis House is an Excellent Recovery Center. It sits perched on a hill in Seaside overlooking the gorgeous Monterey Bay. They have very caring professional counselors who help navigate you toward a new start. One thing that is certain, you will get the tools you need but the key is to use them! One will get as much as one puts in. It could be easy to breeze thru this program but unless you are willing to delve in deep you won't get much out of it. The food is wonderful. The social model creates an atmosphere of team work. There aren't any dogmas or ideologies that are forced on one. It is a great place to launch your sobriety!
