Butterflies Academy

My daughter started at Butterflies Academy when she was 2.5 years old after being at home (no prior daycare)I had looked at multiple preschools, and was anxious about my daughter starting preschool. To echo other parents in the reviews, I felt immediately comfortable with this school. The staff are patient, kind and knowledgeable and made the transition from home to preschool much easier for my family. I also really felt supported by the other parents at the school during my daughter's transition to preschool, which I had not expected. The other highlights are the multiple thoughtful activities that the kids do, like yoga, music, sports and a monthly curriculum. There is a lot of diversity as well amongst the families who attend, so my daughter learns a lot about other cultures. The teachers put a lot of effort into the activities and make crafts that are really cool and unique with the kids. There is a lot of space for them to do outdoor activities as well, which my daughter loves. My daughter has really thrived at Butterflies Academy and has developed a lot of important skills here. I highly recommend this preschool and am so thankful to all the staff there for helping my daughter grow!

My son has been attending this preschool since he was two years old. Initially, he couldn't speak English and didn't know how to interact with friends, but he has grown significantly. The advantage of this preschool is that it allows children to socialize with friends of various age groups. The teachers are all attentive, kind, and engage the children in diverse activities, which is why our son always enjoyed going to Butterflies academy. Even though we had to drive for a long time in the opposite direction of our first son's school, we didn't consider relocating him. I believe this preschool is operated with a comfortable and warm atmosphere while maintaining a well-structured system. I highly recommend it.

This place is expensive and will leave your child in the corner of the bathroom naked and crying as a form of punishment for wetting themselves. They will call you while you work since they can't handle a temper tantrum and give up on your kid. The teachers sound tired and annoyed, I think they are on something that sedates them. It's overcrowded and kids are constantly sick. When you ask for a refund after quitting on your kid in the middle of the month, making you scramble to find better childcare, they will sue you. If you want to waste money, time, and traumatize your kids, send your kids to Butterflies Academy!

My son joined Butterflies Academy last year when we moved from Virginia. I was very anxious to send him to a new preschool as he was already going through changes with the move. My husband and I visited couple schools around and when we met with Ms. Fahrinaz, from this first meeting I felt that this was the school I wanted my son to be in. When Ms. Fahrinaz explained us what they do, what their focuses are, I was able to see her passion and love for the kids. From the first day, my son loved being at the Butterflies Academy. He had an amazing year having fun, feeling loved and belonged, making friends, learning a lot, doing arts, yoga, music, story times, exercises, and many more activities. I cannot thank the teachers and the amazing staff enough for the wonderful, warm, very inclusive environment. He has been so fortunate to have been part of the Butterflies family He has been so excited to be there everyday and we are so happy to see and feel that. He is now transitioning to Kindergarten and we will deeply miss the wonderful Butterflies Academy family
