The Inn at Saratoga, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

All I can say is.. WOW. This is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. My entire stay was lovely. The location felt like a retreat oasis with the creek running right next to the rooms. The bed and rooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of room for luggage and belongings. The hotel staff is lovely and it felt like such a lovely getaway for my boyfriend and I. Will definitely be recommending this place and returning soon!

Little gem. Stayed on business, would love to return again for fun. Room on river side was fantastic both inside and the view and scents of the adjacent eucalyptus trees. Rooms: Chic modern Walkability: Right in the heart of Saratoga.

Beautiful hotel! Pros: - Hotel staff is wonderful - Safe Location. Felt safe during our entire stay. A key card is also required to use the elevators which provides an extra security feature. - Nature! There is a park right outside the door of the hotel. Have a picnic, go for a walk, or spend some time outdoors. Super convenient and private location - You can hear the running stream water from your balcony - Modern design of hotel - Within reasonable driving distance to Stanford (15 min) & San Jose Airport (15 min) Cons: - No onsite laundry and the nearest laundry mat is not close to the hotel. - No microwave - Very very small selection of live cable channels. - Our mini fridge didn't work at all. The staff brought us a new one, but even that was a spare and didn't work great due to the age (and model). The mini fridges in the rooms are many years old ... extremely outdated. - There is a daily parking fee. Most hotels in the area have free parking. - The provided in-room coffee machine is not very useful when there is no microwave available to re-heat your coffee. We ended up having to throw them out frequently because it's hard to drink the coffee cold. A microwave is also needed to make quick meals while traveling. Really suggest providing them for guests. Rooms: Rooms really need a microwave. They provide a coffee machine but once your coffee gets cold, you have to throw it out because there is nothing available to re-heat it. Not having a microwave also takes away the possibility of making quick meals while traveling. You'll have to order out. Nearby activities: We were pleased it was within reasonable distance to Stanford University, Stanford's Sunnyvale Clinics and San Jose Airport. All about 15 minutes away. Walkability: There is a wildlife/nature park outside the hotel Food & drinks: Some food and drink options onsite. Noteworthy details: Very accommodating and friendly staff!
