Baron Construction and Remodeling Co.

If you are thinking of hiring Baron Construction (Mike, Or, David) to do any major work - think twice! The company is a complete disaster and incompetence. They don't understand architectural or structural plans or even care about doing so. Their approach is to sign you up for a high-premium contact, and then hire low-cost subcontractors and provide zero supervision to any work. After the project starts, they will drag it as much as they can, making 9 months project last for 2 years! In the meantime, they will try to charge you 50x for simple plywood here and there. Don't bother. Take your money somewhere else where you will get quality, communication, and responsibility. We hired Baron Construction to build our dream home, and with the project only still half-way completed, it turned to be a nightmare shortly after they started on the project. Worst experience in our life. Baron Construction's incompetence and disorganization has its toll. Stay away.

My wife and I needed one of our bedrooms completely re-built (flooring, ceiling, walls, insulation, painting) AND we wanted to completely renovate the attached bathroom. For starters, I will admit I am extremely particular. I scheduled consultation appointments with 5 contractors, all of which had great reviews on Yelp and other sites. From prior personal experience and friends' experiences with contractors, their reputation on the street is not that great (poor communication, lack of timeliness, etc). After all the consultations, I decided to go with Baron Construction. For the record, they were not the cheapest, but their offer was fair and I felt good about our project manager, Leeran Shlomo. Our project is now complete and I have to say I feel very good about selecting Baron Construction and Leeran Shlomo. Leeran proved to be anything other than the contractor stereotypes I mentioned above. He was personable, friendly, a GREAT communicator, and he made himself available almost anytime (even before 8 am and up until 10 pm at night sometimes). His customer service was superb. I would highly recommend Baron Construction and this is almost directly attributable to our experience with Leeran Shlomo. The project manager can make your life really smooth or miserable. Leeran managed our project extremely well and kept us updated almost daily. If you can select Leeran, I would highly, highly recommend him! He's awesome!
