image Paid for an order, three weeks in advance, for a dozen dahlias with the date of pick up being the day before Mothers Day.
On the day of pick up the florist was completely unavailable and was not returning any calls. The next day, Mothers Day, I tried to go to the store and contact florist again, but with zero luck; even after I was told theyd be open.
Even four days after missing order fulfillment there was zero communication with the florist; only a refund that was processed without the florist having the courtesy of reaching out.
I get things happen in life, but the zero communication on and after this issue is unacceptable and unprofessional; especially on such a special day.

image Great shop! Stopped by to grab some flowers for my wife, and the owner worked with me to pick out a fantastic bouquet. I'll definitely be back. Really nice selection of flowers, bath bombs and some candles.

image Spoke w/ Shanel on 2/7 and asked if she would have rainbow roses and roselilies by V-Day. She said that would not be a problem. I had left my credit card at home so needed to call the next day. I called shortly after 10am on 2/8 and ordered. When confirming the rainbow roses Shanel mentioned roses that looked like they had the rainbow splattered on them. I said "if you can get the splattered version let's do that and then I for sure want roselilies; they look like stargazers but have multiple layers and I do not want star gazers. Shanel said she knew exactly what I was talking about. I told her price didn't matter but I wanted a "wow" factor to the bouquet so how many stems of the rose lily would I need and she said 6. I said we can do more but she assured me it would look great with the filler and greens.
On 2/13 I didn't know which version of the roses I was getting so I called to ask. The whole seller was only able to bring regular rainbow roses so l said that's fine thank you. NO mention of not getting my roselillies.
On 2/14 I go to pick-up my flowers and as soon as I saw them was disappointed. She's moved to Santee but I was picking up at the flower stand on Orange:
What a disappointment and disaster. ZERO rose lilies and what is in it's place - star gazers!! The exact flower I said I did not want when trying to describe roselilies to make sure she was understanding what I wanted. I looked at the guy and it wasn't his fault, but I just said this isn't what I ordered. It was now after 12 and I had a 1pm appointment so I took the flowers - I couldn't have nothing - and tried calling. On the 3rd attempt someone answered - I told her this isn't what I ordered and gives the phone to Shanel.
To sum up my conversation - Shanel this isn't what I ordered. I don't understand why you would give me star gazers? Shanel: The whole seller didn't have roselilies so we gave you "our best" star gazers. Me: Why would you give me star gazers instead of calling me and asking what replacement flower I would like?
Shanel: Well what flower would you have wanted? Me: Not star gazers. This is a generic flower that I can get at Vons for like $5. I would have asked you for something less ordinary had you called and asked.
Shanel: Well, you can go back to the stand and have him give you different flowers Me: He doesn't have any flowers left. Shanel: More flowers are coming in like 20-30 minutes. Me: I have a 1pm meeting and cannot wait for the flowers and then to have these redone. And I thought you said I would be happy with the filler. This purple stuff is a disaster. It's literally the worst filler flower of all of them. What do you have in store there? Shanel then said we'll I can refund you for the ride lilies and then proceeds to tell me that I am being rude. when all i did was call to tell her my order is wrong and I should have been notified once she realized she didn't get my custom order flower in. Or, I don't know, when I called the day before she could have told me then as an option? When I told her my review wouldn't be pleasant she said "go ahead it won't hurt us. The Coronado Flower Lady has been around for decades - that may be true - but Florabella isn't her so taking credit for that company's goodwill seems wrong.
Apparently, telling her that the stargazers are a generic flower and the purple filler is a disaster that is found on the side of the road, justified her yelling at me, telling me she pays her designers $25 an hour (not my concern), and then hanging up on me.
While yelling at me she repeatedly said I said the arrangement was trash, which I did not, I said the purple flowers are a disaster. To me they are the bouquet had zero wow factor that I asked for. But once Shanel started going off I couldn't even answer her question as to what she could do - I would have gone to Santee after my 1pm appointment.
On top of that, the quality of the flowers is POOR. 3/12 roses were noticeably overly opened, they will likely die by tomorrow; NONE of the generic "best" stargazers are open. $150 to be massively disappointed.
