        I love 99 cents store I was sad when I heard there were closing for good I heard on the news that big lots want to buy 99 cents some of theme in California 99 cents I hope so me and others depend on this store it's affordable to those that are on fix income living in San Diego it's not cheap

        04/2023 The majority of the items now are over .99. For example, shower curtains, some toys, and the watering cans, etc. There was a similar store that went this route. It was called Everything a Deal in National City. It used to be everything below $5. Then the store changed to Forever Deals $5.99. The store eventually closed down. Just FYI. Edit: 4/6/24, what a coincidence that all of their stores will be closing down on 06/2024. Go figure.
