Mixed Greens Preschool

My daughter has been blessed to be able to attend Mixed Greens four years now.  The environment is amazing and any child who attends feels so comfortable.  My daughter was very shy before she started here and has blossomed into a terrific young lady. The focus at Mixed Greens is inclusion, friendship, sunshine, our mother earth and the great outdoors.  What a remarkable job the owners and staff did this entire pandemic and still continue to do.  I will always be grateful that my childs early development years were focused at Mixed Greens.  Thank you Ms. Heather!

I can't say enough great things about Mixed Greens. Our daughter loves it there, and has been exposed to art, gardening, yoga, spanish lessons, and hands on interactive experience with the world around her. Every single one of the teachers is kind, caring and so patient with the kids. I can drop my daughter off and have peace of mind, knowing that she will have a fantastic day at school. On days when she is feeling tired and cranky, someone is always there to give her extra hugs or let her snuggle in their lap. They have also been very supportive during potty training and are always understanding on days when my little one has accidents. The facility itself is new, but also comes across as cozy and welcoming. The outside play yard has a garden, baby chickens, a play ground, picnic area, and tree circle area. Inside is layed out into different areas (think reading nook, play fort complete with slide, art zone, costume/ dress up area, etc. The only downside to this school is that they don't offer Kindergarten, only because we will be sad when it's time to go! I really wish all schools could be like this one.

My son has recently started to attend Mixed Greens and I am so pleased to already see a difference in his love for learning! The teachers are amazingly intuitive and they have a genuine love for guiding the next generation with gentleness and understanding. I highly recommend this for any parent looking for a school and second home for their child!

Our daughter started going her when this location opened. It is an amazing preschool! Heather, the Director, has put together a wonderful place for children. My daughter does not want to leave!! The teachers are sweet and intelligent. Heather is very responsive to parents needs. The children learn through play, nature, art, music and physical education as well. The building is beautiful and outside is lovely too. The kids go on walks and get to enjoy an outdoor learning environment. The kids and families that attend this school are really nice too. I highly recommend this preschool! Bonus, age is 2 and up.
