Katie is not only a talented artist when is comes to all things hair and makeup, but she is funny, kind and outgoing which keeps her clients feeling relaxed in the chair. I've had the pleasure of working with her for 10+ years and as a wedding planner, she keeps my clients happy and the timeline of the day on track. She is a beauty guru and I cannot recommend her team enough!!

(Per my wife)Mary was the hair and makeup artist for my wedding on October 15, 2022 and I would highly recommend her.  There were only three of us getting our hair and make-up done on the day of, so it was all Mary.  She arrived exactly on time and kept everyone on schedule.  All three of us were really happy with the result! I decided to switch up both my make-up and my hair from the trial styles last minute, and Mary was happy to adapt.

Katie and her team did a phenomenal job with hair/makeup for myself and my wedding party. They were very professional (on-time, organized, high quality products, etc) but also keep the getting ready atmosphere fun and celebratory! As someone who isn't very experienced with hair/makeup, Katie was very patient and did a great job helping me come up with ideas and finalize my bridal look. I felt so beautiful and was so pleased with the end results (as was my bridal party). Great experience all around!

We feel so lucky we got to work with Katie and her team for our wedding hair & makeup. As two brides with slightly different hair and makeup style preferences, Katie did a great job of matching our individual visions while still making us look cohesive as a couple. We loved the balance of feeling glamorous while still looking like ourselves. She also assembled a great team, and both Katie and her team provided a fun, warm, and calming energy on the day of, so we could truly enjoy the process and not worry at all as we got ready. I hired Mary from Whimsy to do my hair and makeup for my wedding in Santa Rosa on 8-5-22. We came into town a few months prior and I did a trial hair and makeup run with Mary as well. I highly recommend doing the trial! Mary arrived to both sessions on time and it was perfect on both occasions. Doing the trial made my wedding day stress free as Mary took pictures and notes of what I liked. So when she arrived on the wedding day I was able to relax and let her work her magic. I got so many compliments on how she did my hair and made my eyes pop for pictures with the makeup she chose. We are frequent visitors of Santa Rosa and I would use her again for a special occasion! Thanks Mary for making my wedding morning stress free
