Mike Porter was sent out to me by Nest as I had a problem with my air conditioner and the thermostat.  It turned out to be another issue with my furnace and I elected to purchase a new higher efficient furnace rather than repair my existing one.Mike is really a great guy - knowledgeable, honest, very polite, and responsive.  I highly recommend him for your furnace and air conditioning needs.

I just moved to the area, and got lucky enough to find Mike Porter of Porters Mechanical.  I have been remodeling houses for 20 years, and he is by far the best HVAC contractor I have ever worked with.  He is knowledgable, professional and fair with cost.  No hard sell, just good information and quality equipment.  He also does his own sheet metal work, which makes the job run much more efficiently.  I would absolutely use him again and give him the highest recommendation.

My 40 year old furnace died in November, with freezing mornings coming up all through December and January.  I got several estimates on replacement  including high efficiency, new ductwork and even with air conditioning options.  Mike came in with the most reasonable price for a high efficiency furnace with new ductwork.They had the furnace installed the first day(so I'd have heat) and did  the ductwork the next day.  He event replaced all the existing register vents and the cold air return so I no longer have to struggle with replacing the filter. I couldn't be happier with the job Mike  and his crew did, and I will definitely call him again anytime I need that sort of work done, and I will recommend him.  My neighbors had their ductwork replaced by him after he did mine.I would post a picture of my new furnace, but it looks just like the photo of the Bryant! on the left of the ad.  It's smaller than my old one and much better looking!

Porters Mechanical is awesome! My furnace took a dive and I knew it was time for me to finally get a new one. I had other companies come out and give me some estimates and then just leave without explaining anything to me. I then called Porter's Mechanical and spoke with Mike (the owner) who then came to my house and went over all my options and what is needed to get the job done right. He answered all my questions and concerns that I had. I felt that he really cared about my needs in what I was looking for and gave great suggestions as well. I didn't feel like a number to him like the others had made me feel. The price he also gave me was a lot better than the other estimates I had received previously. So it was just amazing to see the differance between him and other companies in regards to customer service and price. Mike finished installing my furnace the other day and the installation looks amazing and works wonderfully!!! I would definitely recommend Porter's Mechanical!!
