Dena was a great help in focusing my career ideals and showing my how to get the most out of my experience/education! Highly recommend! Dena made a stressful life transition speedy, organized and fun! Looking for a new job is a lot of work, especially if you don't know what employers are looking for. Dena helped me refine my resume and get a great job. Before I went to her I wasn't getting anywhere. After a few sessions with Dena I had many job offers and a new job. She listens to what you want and helps you set a path to get there.

I went to see Dena because I was feeling like I needed to make a job change, but wasn't having much luck getting interviews. She helped me revise my resume and coached me on ways to utilize my network to find new opportunities. With her encouragement, I became much bolder about talking to people about the change I was hoping to make and this helped open doors to a new job. During the course of my job search, which took about a year until I started a new job, Dena checked in with me regularly and even called me from Italy to talk to me about my job offer. I highly recommend Dena.

When I moved to Santa Rosa in January, I knew that finding a job, not just any job, was an important undertaking. Dena is very knowledgeable. My tendency to get bored after 6 months to a year on a job was an issue I had been grappling with for years. Dena helped me pinpoint what I need in order to feel engaged at work.Being that she has worked in various capacities in Sonoma County, her insight was invaluable. What means just as much is having a professional career counselor who says it like it is and gives me permission to pass on positions that don't suit me. She is a gem. I am grateful that such talent and charm live in my backyard.
