Santa Paula Inn

Everything was perfect except one thing. There wasn't anybody there dealing with the other patrons who were making noise up to 2:30 in the morning. Unfortunately we didn't sleep for 1 night and they didn't offer to reimburse for the night. I had to call twice to reach somebody but in the end, someone did come by and tell the others to be quiet. It's a great spot but I won't stay there again unless they fix that issue.

Pros: The price is reasonable, the location is right next to restaurants and a downtown area, the room was clean. Cons: the walls are PAPER THIN. Without exaggeration we could hear entire conversations from outside and other rooms. There was also no one manning the front desk at all so it felt like anyone could walk in off the street. While the rooms seem to have been updated recently (wood floor and no carpet on our first floor room), it still felt very old. You could see the light coming in from outside through the cracks around the tv and the bathroom door handle had to be jiggled to work properly. Overall the quality for the price you pay was very good and the little interaction we had with the staff was friendly. If youre a heavy sleeper then this is a good option on a budget.
