Really surprised by how lame the customer service was, as I remember Cox Paint being a great place. I was literally the only customer there and the woman in the paint sample area could barely drum up a "hello", answered two of my questions begrudgingly and retreated to the front cash wrap to sit on the counter top and scroll on her phone...never to look back up and see if I found what I was looking for. The cashier, though marginally nice, couldn't for the life of him answer my questions about trade pricing. After making my purchases, I walked away feeling like I'd just walked into someone's house uninvited. I drove all the way to Santa Monica for literally the bare minimum in effort from Cox's employees. Next time I'll just go to Farrow and Ball directly, where they're happy to help.
