Dr. Gardner is the best and most thorough ophthalmologist I have found. After years of trying. She is extremely caring and sensitive.

After many years of routine exams, I called because I woke up with double vision on a Saturday, of course. She insisted upon coming into the office from home. Subsequently, she has treated my problem as if she had no other patients and arranged for specialists and MRIs. I could not have better care and confidence in her medical expertise.

She is kind and very capable. Unfortunately does not take Medicare so we had to leave.

Best doctor of any kind that I've ever had.  (And I'm old.  :0)She's everything you could hope for in a medical professional -- knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, caring.  She's concerned about your overall health, not just your eyes.  She takes time, gets to know you, doesn't rush through an exam, and explains everything.  And she really listens!She can get pretty booked up, so if If all you need is a checkup, you may have to wait a little longer for an appointment than with most doctors; but if you have an emergency, she'll take care of you ASAP.  She's scrupulous about patient privacy (i.e., HIPAA) and also about hand-washing.I've been going to her for over 20 years.  My ex-husband was also a satisfied patient.  During that time, we moved, so now I have to drive 50 miles to see her, but I still do.  It's worth it to have such a feeling of trust.The few negative comments on here are totally inconsistent with my experience.
