        This place has amazing food and I recommend it. I got the chicken croffle but I had one bite of the Blueberry Cloud French Toast and was blown away. Fabulous food here.

        When we first walked in, it was a beautiful little restaurant. We started off with a raspberry lemonade and a freshly squeezed orange juice. The orange juice tasted a whole lot more fresh than store bought, so would recommend that, and the raspberry lemonade was really good, just a little more sweet than we would like. Then for food, we got a coconut waffle and the kids pancake. The coconut waffle was good, with specks of coconut in it, and the kids pancake was shaped like a bear, which was cute too. Very good restaurant, would highly recommend.

        The service here is absolutely terrible. Horribly inattentive. The server we had was at our table exactly 3 times; to take our drink order, to take our food order and to close out the bill (which we had to ask someone else to get the server). The food was good, but over priced. There are so many better places in Santa Monica and LA to support that Sweet Maple. Edit following the response from the establishmentthis is just factually inaccurate and doesnt make any sense. There was an issue with the WiFi so the server went outside to get a better WiFi signal? Strange also that the POS WiFi issue also didnt impact the server we did ask to close out. Not to mention, I never mentioned what day I was at the restaurant.

      Michael, thank you for your visit, and we're glad to hear you enjoyed our food; however, please accept our apologies for the service issues you experienced. We know how frustrating that can be, and that certainly is not the level of hospitality we normally provide. Today, we had an issue with our wifi, and some of our point of sale stations were not getting signals. Unfortunately, this required your server to walk all the way outside to a POS that was working. On a busy day like today, even though we tried our best to maintain our usual high level of attentiveness, we weren't able to provide your table with the service you deserved. We'd love to have a second chance to impress you, and next time you are in, please ask for a manager so we can make sure you have an excellent dining experience in every way.
