As soon as we walk through the front gate, our dog's tail starts wagging because he knows it's about to get lit with all his little friends! I was scared when we got a dog that our travel days would be over, but Rover is the #1 reason that my husband and I still get to travel with peace of mind. Our Pekingese puppy, Mushu just loves spending time here with the staff, which is highly professional and well-trained with dogs.
The rates for boarding are reasonable at $60/night but I highly recommend exploring the packages if you think you'll be away for at least 20 nights. They don't expire!
A special thanks to Melissa at the front desk for always giving us detailed updates on Mushu when we call from our trips. It always warms my heart to hear her smile on the phone and know that Mushu is having a blast - especially with his BFFs Tito and Avon.
My ONE piece of feedback to Austin + Rover leadership would be that on the check-in form, you can request email updates if your dog is staying more than 3 nights but I've never received an email update without calling them and asking for it. Highly recommend they establish a procedure to make this happen for loyal clients!!
Pro Tips:
- If your pup stays for 3+ nights, they receive a complimentary bath before they check-out!
- Let Rover know what time you're picking up your pup so they can schedule their bath
- If you're a first timer, schedule a meeting in advance so they can meet you and your dog and test them out with the different size groups to see what's best
