dr zikry and his staff are amazing human beings! not only is dr zikry knowledgeable in all things dermatology-related, his empathy is also quite obvious. i was given a minor shot, but had a not fun reaction - he and his staff immediately took care of me and after a glass of water, juice and a snack, i was on my way home. btw, i've never had to wait for my appointment, he's always been right on time and even a few times early to see me. i'm super grateful and thankful that my primary doc referred me to him *;-)

Dr. Zikry is quite knowledgeable and efficient and shows a lot of experience, which is surprising only because he looks too young to be so highly skilled. He's also a very likable person, which helps when you're alone in an exam room with a doctor.
For more than ten years, I've asked doctors about a bump on my eyebrow and they dismissed it with, "it's benign, we're leaving it." No matter how much I begged, they brushed it off.
I met Dr. Zikry when he stood in for my dermatologist who was out of town. THIS is a doctor who listens to his patients.
I made a follow-up appointment and requested Dr. Zikry. I rehearsed a speech to explain why I wanted the bump gone. It was an ugly reminder in the exact place my childhood sexual predator, my father, had a similar bump.
I didn't get to make my well-prepared speech. As soon as I said, "I have this bump that has bothered me for a very long time," Dr. Zikry jumped in with, "if you'd like, there are a few options and this bump could be gone during this appointment."
I don't like going to any medical appointment because I'm a bit squeamish due to childhood physical abuse. Yet, on my second visit I felt comfortable with Dr.Zikry and trusted him enough to let him take a scalpel to my eyebrow.
Dr. Zikry assured me that the procedure wouldn't leave a scar, and I doubted him a bit because I'm 65 and ... well... "reality." As Dr. Zikry predicted, within two weeks my eyebrow heeled without any indication of a previous issue.
Sometimes, in the course of one's workday, someone "simply doing their job" significantly changes someone's life for the better...MUCH better. I have no doubt that Dr. Zikry does this many times every single hour of every day he sees patients.

Dr. Zikry and his staff are simply excellent. I have not received the level of
care from any other medical team in my life. They are accommodating, quick to
respond and genuinely friendly. Dr. Zikry is extremely knowledgeable and
de-bunked a lot of my concerns regarding certain medications and clearly and directly addressed all my concerns that left me feeling extremely confident in his diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Cannot endorse him enough!

I never write reveiws for doctors but I am compelled to after my first appointment with Dr. Zikry at his office on Jefferson in Playa Del Rey. What a great experience!! I was concerned I had a couple of spots that might be skin cancer and was able to get an appointment within less than a week at this office. I got stuckiIn traffic and was 10 minutes late which is usually not a big deal since my other doctor in this building always runs at least 20 minutes late. However, Dr.Zikry was running on time. He was still able to see me and within a minute of looking at my spots under what looked like an infared hand held microscope he assured me it was not skin cancer and another type of totally benign sun spot. He looked at several of my other sun spots and I mentioned I am in the sun a lot. He was friendly and gave me a recomendation per my request to remove some some damage via laser. I found him honest, easy to talk to, and extremely helpful. Ive finally found my new dermatologist and couldnt be happier as skin cancer runs in my family. All in a wonderful uplifting experience!
