Lighthouse Center for Infants

Lighthouse Center For Infants is the ONLY place I would trust for my baby. It feels like a home away from home. The environment is cozy and painted in soothing colors. There are just the right amount of toys without it being overwhelming. The staff is made up of mothers who know the ins and outs of caring for very young babies. They accommodate dietary restrictions and nap schedules without issue. I love that this center has the personalized feel of in home care or a nanny, but the staff is fully trained in all state protocols and safety measures. Its win-win all around. Simply the best place if you find yourself in need of care for your smallest family member .

Wonderful experience for our first child here! Staff create an amazing safe, warm, loving, clean atmosphere to drop off your little bundle of joy for the work day. Its tough being away from him but the smiles he has when we pick him up light us up!! Thank you so much to Jenni, Xiovana and the rest of the amazing staff who open their hearts to create this great child centered daycare experience!

This review is long overdue! Let me start by saying I cannot recommend this center enough! My first son was here for almost a year in 2019 (from age 4 months-1 year) before we moved and I was so happy with the care he received here! Like most moms I was nervous about placing him in daycare and did a lot of research to find a place that would be a good fit for him. He was always well-cared for, learned so much, and the teachers were all so kind. We were so sad to leave!Fast-forward to a few months ago we moved back to LA and our younger son (8 months) was lucky enough to secure a spot here. The place has stayed true to all I remember it to be in the best ways! I have such peace of mind knowing my baby is in a safe and loving environment. The teachers all communicate so well with the parents and genuinely feel like they enjoy caring for the babies!  All of the same teachers that cared for my older son are still there, which to me is such a good sign of a great work environment and the dedication of the teachers. Specifically Jenni, Dee, X and Esther have a special place in my heart for all the love and care they have shown each of my boys! If you are looking for a warm, loving, safe place for your child this is it!

I can't say enough good things about the care our son has received at Lighthouse Center for Infants! I highly recommend this facility to any parent seeking a nurturing environment for their child. Each and every one of the teachers here (especially Dee, Esther and Jenny) really cares about the children. Whenever we see them at pick-up or drop-off, they have stories to tell us about our son that day. We really appreciate their attention to detail and clear communication. They create a daily report for each child to document their naps and feedings. And each day is loosely scheduled to include age-appropriate activities like art and reading, playing outside and singing songs in circle time. The main room is open and bright, and includes a dedicated area for babies who can't crawl or walk. There is also a nice nap room with a white noise machine and cribs that is apart from the play area so the children have a soothing place to nap. The Director, Anita, truly cares about her families and has created a unique, welcoming and warm daycare center. Our son has been there since he was five months old and we've been continually impressed by the high standards LCI sets for its children and families!

Full of love!! As a new mom, I was nervous to put my 3-month old daughter in daycare. No reason to worry- Anita and the team at Lighthouse are amazing! They eased us all into daycare, and have done a wonderful job caring for our daughter. My girl is a bit high maintenance and they are always loving and patient with her, and us -- even offering welcome advice when I asked. They assigned one person to be the main caregiver for my daughter- she took to the consistency and opportunity to bond deeply with one person. They are also clean and safety-minded with clear emergency procedures outlined. I get great daily updates and photos of the fun in action! Anita has been in the kid-loving business for a long time and her dedication and knowledge are immediately obvious. My daughter has never once cried when I left her there- and always has a big smile for all the ladies. Thanks Lighthouse!!
