I am 79 years old and have lived in the "four corners" (Florida, New Hampshire, Washington State and California) of the United States. I recently moved into the central coast from San Diego. My previous dentist was excellent. I was very nervous about starting up with a new dentist. Richard Healy and his staff are perfectionists. I wish he could be my general practitioner! His X-ray technician for full mouth coverage was the most thorough person I have ever had. His follow up full mouth examination was the most thorough I have ever experienced! Lastly, his dental hygienist was as good as any I have ever had. I have just had a recent appointment (10/26/21) with Dr. Healy's dental hygienist Francesca followed by his usual full mouth checkup, and a fluoride treatment. This is one dentist you can trust. Several months ago, I was having a problem with a 5 tooth crown (in my mouth for 41 years). I thought it might have to be removed and replaced at great cost. He told me to not be so hasty. I used Crest Gum Detoxify which was in a sample packet given to me by his hygienist and followed the hygienist's instructions on brushing. The problem has since disappeared! I never have liked going to the dentist but Dr. Healy's family dentistry group make you feel like family.

Dr. Healy and team are phenomenal! I found this office as I transitioned to local care from my longtime dentist. Both care and safety are important to me. After reading reviews and seeing descriptive COVID precautions I scheduled a new patient visit. After numerous visits to get my dental care back on track (avoided due to COVID), I appreciate the consistent treatment each time I visit or interact with this office. It truly is important to each person in this office to provide quality care. I am an anxious person and was put at ease by not feeling rushed when I had questions and hearing each step of the process as I had work done so I knew what was going on. Whether it’s a phone call to manage scheduling or Dr. Healy taking the time to stop by to say hello during a cleaning, I feel each staff member is invested in making sure every interaction is a thoughtful, positive one.
