I was referred to Cherri several years ago by a good friend who claimed that her massages "are life altering." I had developed painful piriformis syndrome with continuous nerve pain following a long drive out of state and back. Cherri worked me right into her schedule and listened attentively as I described my symptoms to her. Honestly, she healed me. I continue to see Cherri for routine body work and I'm so pleased to have found her. She integrates reiki, cupping, aroma therapy and many other therapeutic techniques that I am less familiar with. I trust Cherri and her unwavering intuition. I go to her broken and weary and I wobble out like a smiley cooked noodle. She's the best.

I went here because I was in so much pain I couldn't even go to work. I was desperate for relief and was willing to try anything. Cherri is an angel and I will not let anyone massage me but her! She started by giving me an intake and going over my health history and having me walk in front of her and moved me around a bit to assess my body. the massage room was dark and lit by candles which made me feel relaxed and more comfortable getting massaged because I didn't feel like my body was on display. The massage was super relaxing and soothing while still addressing my pain issues. It felt like physical therapy and relaxing massage mixed together. It was like she was psychic and knew exactly where to touch me and how much pressure to use. She seemed to have a very good understanding of anatomy and physiology as she worked muscles that weren't hurting but that were somehow causing other parts to hurt. (I don't quite understand but it made sense when she explained it) Most of all it worked! By the end of the session I was experiencing relief and had more flexibility. She applied special oils to certain muscles and also used hot stones and these awesome cups that she applied to my back while she was working on my legs to give me extra pain relief. she set me up with a plan and I came in on a regular basis (3 times a week at first and then gradually tapered off) at first and now come in 1-2 times a month for maintenance. I am now able to work without my pain stopping me and controlling my life. I am so grateful to her for helping me. She used Cannabis Oil to massage me and I have to say that I am a believer in this now.She even gave me a sample of CBD Massage oil to take home and use for pain relief. I was skeptical at first but I have been buying it from her ever since for my chronic pain. If you are experiencing pain or just want to get a therapeutic massage in Santa Cruz from someone who knows anatomy and will actually address your muscles and physiology instead of just rubbing in the oil go and see Cherri. She is super sweet and compassionate. She genuinely cares for her clients and it shows in the way she treats you and the way she follows up as well. (She usually call a day or two after the session to see how I am) A true gem in a town that is flooded with massage therapists. Cherri is the real deal.

I've been going to Cherri at Santa Cruz Massage and Healing for the past 10 years and I won't go to anyone but her! She is so gifted and talented with her touch. Her intuition guides her and her skill, education, and proficiency in anatomy and physiology do the rest. Her massage is so different from anything I have ever experienced. She addresses the whole body as a 3 dimensional entity. She uses movement to create a dance between us even though I'm laying there the whole time. Lol. She uses essential oils to address my emotional concerns. Just when you think it can't get any better, here come the hot stones down my back melting my muscles. And after that, when yiu are literally in heaven and floating, she applies the Chinese style glad cups! It is amazing! I can't say enough great things about her and the wonderful work she does. She is a true healer and everyone should be lucky enough to experience her magic. Do yourself a favor and see her. On top of being super talented, she is warm hearted and understanding. She always calls me a day after my massages to see how I am. She offers frequent visit incentives and has specials all the time on her web site and social media. She also donates massage to people with cancer and has a compassion program for low income folks. She's a true gem!!
