Hotel Paradox, Autograph Collection

This renovated older motel has been lovingly restored into something actually chic. The lobby, restaurant and pool areas are over the top in a Bohemian glamorous sort of way. The service is uniformly friendly. That's the good news. Unfortunately we did not have reliable Wi-Fi until the last few hours of our 2-day stay. And the breakfast service in the restaurant is brutally slow. You might save time by visiting the Starbucks down the street.

Old hotel that has been renovated and they did a really nice job on the lobby, bar area (which opens out to the pool area) and the food. The rooms however were nothing special. Understandable considering you must work with the space you have, which wasn't much in my room on the first floor. But, I was traveling on business so it fit the bill. I'd stay again but try a different floor.

Motel with a nice lobby but outdated rooms, continuous light from outside into the rooms so these don't get dark. Seems charging for everything, from rather expensive breakfast, parking on the premise (unguarded), no water on room, minibar not stocked, etc.
