Stayed here 6/04. Front desk lady, Laura was very helpful and kind! Our room was great as well. It was nice, clean and newly remodeled. Did have a bit of misunderstanding and minor problem but at the end of the day it was resolved ! Will be coming back for my next stay in Santa Cruz !

This hotel has clearly benefited from a major update at the end of 2021. The rooms may still be on the small side but very clean with crown molding and equipped with new amenities including new recessed indirect and bedside lighting, USB ports on either side of the bed, new langer refrigerator(still within dorm size) microwave, lighted bathroom mirror, flat screen TV and a nice chair for relaxing. The pool also looks new (no hot tub) with plenty of parking, The manager Bhavesh Patel was most helpful and accomodating even though it was a hectic holiday weekend. The downsides are few as the rooms don't have a safe or racks to put your suitcases on. I also wish more hotels would forgoe the classic tub with shower and provide just a walk-in shower with no tub as it provides better and safer access for us older folks.
