Surf Check Driving School

I was recommended this driving school through a friend who also took lessons from Mark and I have to say this is a great driving school! Mark is a very calm instructor which made driving seem way less intimidating for me. He is also always available to answer any questions through text which was very helpful. My sister is now learning with him and she has all good things to say as well. I definitely would recommend Surf Check to anyone looking for driving lessons!

My son had an excellent experience learning to drive with Mark. My daughter had learned with the bigger Santa Cruz driving school but she got a different instructor each time and lessons were 2 hours long. With Mark, my son had six 1-hour lessons which was so much better for honing his skills and getting feedback, and he developed a good rapport with Mark along the way. Passed first time.

Mark was an awesome instructor for my teenager. He is calm and and super knowledgable about the whole process. I was so nervous teaching my son to drive that I was making HIM nervous. Mark was a such a great help with that. My kid was also a bit slow to pick up on the ins and outs of driving but Mark stuck with him and really got him ready for his test. I am really grateful that he was able to help my kid reach this milestone. Fully recommend.

Mark is such a cool guy ! I had already driven quite a bit before scheduling a drive with him but his advice is super helpful and thanks to him, I passed my test on the first try ! Definitely recommend !
