    Realm. Where customer service goes to die. Staff parks themselves behind their monitors. No welcome. No thank you. No smiles. Seriously everything you sell is online for less money. I doubt you make another year

    Super cool place with amazing stuff, but the staff needs work, I walked in and they where blasting inappropriate rap music (I dont think they noticed us go in) then when I walked up to the guy working the girl instantly changed the music to a calmer station while giggling. And when I walked out they both burst out laughing, I mean I dont mind the music much but maybe more aware of your customers walking in and out especially with toddlers (I had my 2 year old with me who is currently expanding his vocabulary )

    I have been in law enforcement for most of my adult life. This AM i went into this store and tried on 4 articles of clothing. I asked them to hold them while i met my wife for lunch down the street. Lunch ran over and I forgot to go back. After work same day, an employee of Realm notices me at Pacific Wave another store down the street. I have spent thousands of dollars at Pacfic Wave and hundreds in the last two days alone. The employee who followed me into Pacific Wave approached an employee of Pacific Wave and told him that I had been stealing. He then approached me to accuse me of theft. He stated that after i left they found clothing in the store that was uncensored. And i was the only large (xxl) customer in that day. Besides accusing me of attempting to steal clothes. (I think) The rapport with some of the employees at Pacific Wave who will not feel the same about my family and I, will be ruined. We shop here frequently and I walk past almost a dozen times a day. His customer service in the store was lacking, as he was unwilling to help me find the size of pants i needed, as i carefully and respectfully didn't tear up his stacks. Im sure he has other skills that make him a valuable employee. I am not interested in an apology. My feelings are hurt a little bit. I had to YElP for the first time in my life. Most importantly, i feel like a friendship was damaged by his lack of professionalism. I work down the street and know many of the people at Pacific Wave who have always treated me with dignity and respect. Maybe the smart move was to check in with the Pac Wave empoloyees to see if they had any issues with my patronage in the past. I'm sure I would have received kind words. Instead, I won't go back again for some time.

    I give this place 5 stars for their cool merchandise and 2 stars for their customer service. We prefer to support local businesses and we shop downtown often. When we have shopped here, the staff have either ignored us completely or acted like we were bothering them by asking for a dressing room or to check to see if they had something in stock in the back, which they did and which I bought because I wanted to support this local store even though I could have bought it online for less. But I didnt appreciate the attitude I got from the staff. Recently (9/8/22) my 16 year old stopped in and the staff were incredibly condescending to her. She shops alone downtown all the time and has never been treated so rudely. How hard is it to be helpful, kind, and respectful? When I went back the next day and bought the item my daughter was too upset to buy after the way she was treated, the young man who helped me was very nice, so there is hope for this place. Maybe he can give some tips to the rest of the staff. Hopefully this store can figure out their staffing so they can survive downtown.
