Kathleen has an amazing gift for nurturing and empowering mothers-to-be through her bodywork and acupuncture treatments. I saw her consistently for the last half of my second pregnancy and it made a huge difference in my energy, mobility and mental health. She treats with such compassion in a judgement-free and supportive way. I would highly recommend making the time to see her. It is such a worthwhile investment  for you and your baby.

Seeing Kathleen has been life changing. I have been very lucky to have both cranial sacral and acupuncture from other talented practitioners in Santa Cruz, however, Kathleen has been able to help me in ways others have not. I have been having major problems with my SI joint after a car accident a year ago and Kathleen has gently put the joint back into alignment. It has stayed. Months ago I was considering cortisone shots and now I'm pain free. I'm starting to have confidence that I can return to my active life I knew pre-injury some day soon. I feel so blessed.

I had a complicated delivery for my son 4 months ago, and was referred to Kathleen Pouls by my amazing chiropractor Dr. Gabay. Before I came into her office, I had such awful pain in my pelvic muscle that radiated all the way down my left leg; the pain was so bad I could barely walk without grimacing, and the piercing pain would keep me up at night. After my one session with Kathleen I feel 80% healed and the kink in my knee that has been causing me a wealth of trouble is totally gone! She also did some points on my breasts for milk flow! I found Kathleen to be very warm and she has a loving and caring energy about her. The office is also cozy, clean, and comforting. I feel very lucky to have found Kathleen.

Kathleen is an amazing support for moms. I began seeing Kathleen during my first pregnancy when I couldn't take a step without puking. Kathleen settled the nausea and puking and helped with all of the aches and pains of pregnancy. Even more important was her postpartum care after the birth of my daughter. Her mom "tune-ups" have kept me running during my most exhausting times. I am so happy with her acupuncture treatments that my husband and I both continue to see her on a regular basis.

Kathleen single handedly turned a very unpleasant and hard pregnancy, into an enjoyable pregnancy. Her work with pregnant women started 30 years ago, and with every session, I felt better and better. I'm so glad that my friend recommended her, and I took the recommendation seriously. All my friends and family couldn't believe how much better I was doing with energy, attitude, and what I was able to accomplish in a day. I also was able to reduce the swelling in my legs, the intense leg cramps, and overall ill feeling I was experiencing everyday. I tell EVERYONE who is willing to listen, to seek her out if you would like to feel better during pregnancy.
