Providence Summit Surgery Center

Have had 2 procedures here in the past 2 years. First was a gallbladder removal by Dr Sadra and most recently, a colonoscopy done by Dr. Tanya Thomas. Both procedures went very smoothly and I felt very taken care of the entire time by the entire staff of nurses at this surgery center. From my personal experiences, I would highly recommend Dr. Sadra and Dr. Thomas and the facilities and staff at Providence. Everyone was very patient and took the time to address any questions or concerns I had before my procedure and also will follow up with you afterwards as well.

Had knee replacement surgery today and I can't say enough wonderful things about this team of doctors, nurses and caregivers.  It was a stress free experience from start to finish.  They were extremely organized, professional, efficient, caring and explained every procedure from start to finish.   If I ever needed another procedure I would definitely love to come back here.  They thoughtful sent home a lovely Thank you card with signature of all your caregivers during your stay.  It was a very caring touch of class.  Summit team your the best!!

So I'm finally about that age when it's time to consider having a colonoscopy. Yes, it happens to us all. I was referred by my PMD. It's close to home and the scheduling worked with this place. They reached out ahead of the procedure to check in and give instructions. Everything was set.When I finally arrived, on the glorious day of my first ever colonoscopy, the front desk staff was friendly. They had me fill out some forms and then wait to be called. Once I got called to the back, everyone there was so nice. The nurses made me feel at ease, so much so that they told me I should work there lol. Everyone was so professional and personable, which made my first experience totally easy. Bri, especially, stood out. She was chill, real and helpful. She even called and left a message for a follow up the next day. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. And I'd be very comfortable coming back for my next procedure. Who knows? Maybe I'll even apply there!

My Kaiser GI Doctor sent me to this horrible place . Worse bedside manner I have ever experienced(Nurse Ratchet) even the Office Manager. The doctor who administered my " twilight" meds almost poked me in the eye with the needle due to she was too busy talking to her Co-worker. Even the Doctor called her out on what just almost happened. Then to make things worse , I was not given the proper dose so I was completely awake for the entire procedure. At one one point the Doctored paused the procedure because I said" So that's what the inside of my a$$hole looks like" The Doctor stopped and asked "Why is the patient awake?" My procedure was extremely painful and not even one sorry given but they did force a paper for me to sign which seemed to cover their a$$ if I were to sue them . To make matters even worse they waited 7 months to bill me  even though Kaiser said I had a $0 amount due. Providence refused to send me an itemized list of what I was being billed for . They also refused to speak to my Doctor even though my Doctor referred me to them . Providence doesn't care about their patients they only care about money. Even though I was trying to get this issues resolved and everyone keeps blaming COVID as to why things are moving slow, Providence sent me to Collections even though they took 7 months to bill me and I was pushing back because they failed to due their job and refused to resolve this issue in a professional manner. If you are a Kaiser patient I recommend you get it done in house instead of going to Providence. I filed a compliant with Kaiser about Providence Summit Surgery Center and they expressed how within the last year they have been hearing compliant after compliant on how people are being treated.

The entire staff was fabulous. The nurses and doctor were very caring and professional! Overall the experience was top rated.
