One Day Doors & Closets of Bay Area

Its always a prioritization juggle. We had remodeled our home years ago and didnt prioritize the doors, there was no additional budget so Home Depot doors had to do. Home Depot doors do the job but dont complete the look. The time had come to new doors, ones that would match our theme, cabinets and bring the home to completion. We got a few quotes and the decision resulted in working with Bay Area Doors & Closets. The transaction was thoughtful, informative, run much like a family busy. The honesty about the timeframe due to supply issues were explained, they were on schedule, the team that came out was efficient, thoughtful, and very detailed. The doors are exactly what we wanted. This was very worth the wait, given what I know, I would have done it sooner.

The father and son team of Joseph and Michael were awesome. My wife and I wanted to upgrade our 50 year old interior doors, which were "blah" to a nice modern look. Michael came out and described the fantastic system his company uses! Instead of trashing our old doors and jams, Michael informed us all we really needed was just the doors. In fact, our door jams were in great shape so the idea appealed to us. Through modern technology, Michael was able to scan our original doors and door openings to the thousandth of an inch, so in essence his company would simply be replacing the old doors with brand new doors of the exact dimensions. And, that is what happened. Our twelve interior doors were removed and the brand new, fully painted six panel doors and door handles we chose were replaced. Instead of saw dust and a big mess, the technicians came out, removed the old doors and replaced the new doors in a matter of a few hours. They look perfect. The quality is fantastic. The fit is perfect and there was no mess at all. Anyone looking for new interior doors will be amazed at this entire process. The price was competitive as we did get two other bids. Apparently, the doors are cut on a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine and that is how they get an EXACT FIT. It is truly amazing! We are now planning to get our DOUBLE DOOR ENTRY replaced by Joseph and his company. You will love this experience.

We had a great experience with Bay Area Doors and Closets. Michael responded quickly to a call to come out for a quote and measure. Our installation of over a dozen room/closet doors was completed by Victor and Christoper in just under 4 hours. Everyone we talked with was extremely polite and helpful, and on top of it all, we couldn't be happier with our new doors. We've already recommended them to several friends and family and would gladly use them again.

Our new doors look amazing! This company helped us find a comfortable price and number of doors to help renovate our house. They had a good selection of doors and hardware and they look flawless. They really elevate the look of our home. They close smoothly and quietly. They did run out of the hardware we wanted but are working to replace the wrong ones by ordering more. Not a big deal since all the hardware looks nice.

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this review! My husband and I have been homeowners for over 12 years now and in that time we have met with many contractors. I have to say that our most recent experience with Bay Area Doors and Closets was unlike any other! To say that we were satisfied with the service and our overall experience would be an understatement. Joseph, the owner came out and met with us personally. Joseph was extremely warm and patient with us and really took the time to help us make an informed decision when selecting our doors. He didnt try to over sell us and the entire experience form start to finish was positive. We ran into one slight hiccup during installation, but Joseph provided consultation to his equally warm and super competent installers and they went above and beyond to resolve the issue the same day and on site! We now have 12 new gorgeous interior doors with gorgeous updated hardware throughout our home and I could easily spend all day staring at them! :) The best part it was a small update we made to our home, but the impact in terms of aesthetics was HUGE and we didnt break the bank to update our doors. If you are thinking about getting new doors, I highly recommend that you call Bay Area Doors and Closets, youll be glad you did...
